New phone? Bring all your texts with you: on the old phone tap Docs → Move to a new phone, then scan the code here. A backup file works too.
Your texts live only on this phone. Save a backup now and then so you never lose them.
Spelling and grammar are checked automatically when you pause typing. The deep check adds a second, AI-based opinion that catches mix-ups like their/there.
Optional ideas for clearer, tighter writing – your text is already correct without them.
Rewrite it:
Anything you didn’t give it (names, dates) is left as a [placeholder] instead of being made up. Read it through before you send it.
Built from the source’s own data (Crossref, Open Library or the page’s metadata) – nothing is guessed. Missing details are flagged so you can add them.
Rough estimate only. No AI detector is reliable – not this one, and not the ones schools use. They regularly flag text written by real people. A score here is never proof either way.
Compares every sentence with English Wikipedia and 250 million academic papers (OpenAlex abstracts). A passage is flagged when 3 or more sentences in a row (40+ words) appear word-for-word in the same source; one or two matching sentences can happen by chance. Text in quotation marks is skipped, because quoting is allowed. A match is only shown after the source text has been read and the passage found in it. General websites and private databases (e.g. Turnitin) aren’t searched.
